Jessica Kwan from Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, studied with South West College on the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care at the college’s Erne campus. Her intentions were unclear after leaving school at 16 years of age with minimal GCSEs and the anxiety around this made her feel it was the end of the world for her.

Hundreds of Level 3 extended diploma learners from the South West College (SWC) Omagh, Dungannon and Erne campuses collected their results on Thursday, 18 August, marking yet another year of exceptional results, with the overwhelming majority of learners achieving the equivalent of 3 A grades or higher at A Level.

The latest cohort of students to study the City and Guilds Level 3 Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing have recently completed their course. A new career in the rapidly growing area of dental nursing is on the horizon for this group of students and this hands-on course complete with work based learning is the perfect start to getting involved.
