Thursday 18 January - Industrial Action (Updated 14:22 16.01.24)

Public Sector industrial action is planned for Thursday 18 January 2024, which will impact education and public transport.

Due to the level of anticipated disruption, South West College will transition primarily to online delivery for classes. Exams scheduled for January 18th will go ahead.

Our top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff during this time.

Tutors will provide details on how to access lectures, assignments, and any necessary resources through our online learning platform.

We understand that these changes may cause inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding as we navigate through these challenging circumstances.

Friday 19 January - College Closure Day (Additional Duties)

Please be reminded that Friday January 19th, is designated as a college-closure day for students and there will be no classes scheduled on that day. All scheduled BTEC and University set tasks/external exams will take place as normal on campus. Candidates booked for examinations must attend.

All Entitlement Framework classes will also be running as normal.
