Evening Practical Course for Electricians & Apprentices.

Looking to upskill and increase knowledge of Programmable Control Technology?

This hands-on evening course is designed for Electricians and Apprentices who want a practical introduction to PLC programming, wiring, and testing.

This course focuses on real-world PLC skills used in industry. You’ll gain practical experience programming, wiring, and fault-finding PLC-controlled systems in a workshop-based environment.

This practical, hands on training aims to introduce participants to PLC programming and teach them how to:

  • Wire PLC's-Develop skills and experience in ladder logic and structured text based programming languages using Siemens PLC's.
  • Integrate PLC's with electro pneumatic/hydraulic components, motors, lights and other mechatronic systems.

Skills Focus funding available course fees for eligible employers to up skill staff or self-employed students. Please ask for further details.

Students must have an interest in Programmable Logic Controllers and a good understanding of English and the ability to communicate clearly.
