Overview
This Foundation Degree prepares you for a career in Hospitality and Tourism Management. It focuses on acquisition and application of knowledge relevant to the role of the manager in the global hospitality industry. Through work-based learning, the course provides opportunities to develop and enhance your practical, personal and interpersonal skills vital to successful performance in the workplace. On completion, you will be equipped to operate in a management role in the industry.
Students are highly encouraged to take part in educational visits throughout the course. These experiences aim to enhance learning and provide meaningful insights into potential career opportunities and pathways to higher education. Please note that each visit may require an additional travel fee.
Full time - This course is delivered over 2 years.
Part time - This course is delivered over 2.5 years, with work based learning taking place in semester 3 of year 1 and 2.
