Overview

The Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is for learners commencing or developing a career in the motor industry. This practical qualification demonstrates their skills in removing and replacing parts competently on light vehicles.

: You will be able to remove and replace parts and components from light vehicles. You will also be able to service light vehicles.

: Learners must be currently working within the Motor Vehicle Industry. Learners without formal qualifications but with five years' experience may be accepted on the course by interview.

: This qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence and online multiple choice tests. Practical abilities will be assessed in the workplace.

Successful learners will progress to Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Part-Time). In addition, they could also progress into employment as a fitter in maintenance and repair.
