South West College unveils new Captains of Industry seminar programme to support local businesses
South West College will host a series of free industry seminars over the coming months focused on business sustainability and process improvement. The ‘Captains of Industry’ seminars will take place at the college’s campuses in Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.
Supported by Connected NI, the first event taking place at the Idea Centre in the college’s Omagh campus on Tuesday 10th October will explore Digital Manufacturing in Northern Ireland and look at new technologies supporting the manufacturing industry across the region. The guest speaker is Aodheen Dougan, Digital Engagement Manager at Manufacturing NI. Attendees will also meet representatives of the Business and Industry Support team at the college to discuss any potential opportunities or industry support needs.
We are pleased to launch this new programme of events for those in the business community across Fermanagh and Tyrone. South West College ran a series of very successful seminars under the Captains of Industry brand in early 2023 and in our on-going conversations with business partners, we have discovered a need for further knowledge sharing on key topics that are impacting sectors including construction, engineering, and manufacturing. We are confident that these events will provide this information while also offering networking opportunities and the potential for new collaborations and working relationships.
