South West College (SWC) leads the way with a pioneering online programme offering Mandarin Chinese, which has been designed to develop basic communication skills in a real Chinese business environment.
Not only is Mandarin Chinese the most widely spoken language globally but China is the second largest and one of the most important economies in the world. The benefits of learning Mandarin Chinese for business has become a valuable skill for those seeking to open doors and improve success within the lucrative fast-growing Asian markets.
This officially recognised BCT Mandarin Chinese qualification, which is accredited by Hanban, China is ideal for those interested in attaining language for business with China. The initial course is aimed at business beginners learning introductory Mandarin Chinese for meeting Chinese business partners, plus an understanding of Chinese business etiquette for a variety of business activities. The online language and cultural programme is the first of its kind and will give learners the unique opportunity to gain the basic and essential fundamentals of Chinese business language, protocol and understanding. It encompasses four aspects of learning: listening, speaking, reading and writing assuring learners become more proficient within a wide range of professional business pursuits.
The course is delivered online, with tutorial support from SWC Confucius Hub Mandarin Chinese Tutors.
