A class of Zambian students have graduated from South West College, having successfully completed an award winning online learning programme in information technology, delivered by the college, and sponsored by local charity Direct Aid for Africa (DAFA).

Declan Mcgrath age 20 from Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and currently employed at Bundoran Motors, Co Donegal, Ireland was named as one of the competitors for Squad UK (Automotive Technology) for WorldSkills São Paulo 2015 after competing over three days of intense competition at Emtec Nottingham. Declan was invited to take part in Squad UK after excelling at the WorldSkills UK Pre-Selection Skills Competitions.
