South West College was recently acknowledged for outstanding practice of running ASDAN courses by ASDAN Education, a pioneering curriculum development organisation and awarding body.
The award commends the College for its outstanding practice of running ASDAN provision across the College’s campuses in Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.
Speaking about the award, Cathy Rafferty, ASDAN Co-ordinator at South West College said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for the students and staff across the college. We pride ourselves in providing a creative and flexible learning environment and equipping our students who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities with fundamental skills to support independent living, progression to further education and identifying job opportunities to progress to a work setting in the community.
“This award serves to underpin the quality of the provision offered at the College for all our learners.”
