Develop your film making skills for free at the South West College (SWC) Film Making Summer Academy, which will take place from Monday 27th June to Wednesday 29th June, 9.30 am – 4 pm at the SWC Erne/Enniskillen Campus. The free three-day entry-level Academy is ideal for young film enthusiasts aged 14-16 and is now enrolling with limited spaces at https://swcfilm.eventbrite.co.uk

The creative and digital technologies sectors are recognised as growth areas within the economy, and this industry-led Academy aims to meet emerging skills requirements. It enables young learners to embrace their creativity while learning industry-standard processes relevant to the creation of content for the film industry.

It will provide learners with an understanding of core creative concepts and training in the use of industry-standard software tools and, ultimately, the ability to develop an idea, plan, shoot and edit a short film.

Learners will be taught by friendly, experienced tutors and will receive complimentary lunch each day.

This unique, fun learning opportunity has been designed to inspire and equip learners with the creative skills and techniques needed to start their careers within the creative sector.

Learners don’t need any prior experience in filmmaking, and places are limited. So, sign up today at https://swcfilm.eventbrite.co.uk to secure your spot. Or for further information, contact: Owen Gormley (owen.gormley@swc.ac.uk) or Ian Blackford (ian.blackford@swc.ac.uk)
