Overview
This programme aims to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of management within a hair and beauty context. It is also designed to develop students’ skills in a range of hair and beauty services, which are aligned to the needs of employers in the industry.
This programme consists of fifteen modules which provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage a salon or own a business in the hair and beauty industry. There is a strong focus on employability skills and industry knowledge. Students will follow a vocational pathway in hairdressing or beauty therapy where they will develop specialist skills in a range of industry-relevant services.
Teaching Delivery Statement
The teaching and learning strategy within this programme will comprise of a range of delivery methods such as face to face, online and blended. All methods used have the full agreement of students, external examiners and awarding body partners.
