Funding Support for Students
This course aims to produce high quality graduates who have obtained the relevant competencies to undertake roles within one of the many computing disciplines. The programme has been developed to produce professional and competent staff for the computing industry.

This course aims to produce high quality graduates who wish to top up from a Foundation Degree or HND to a full BSc Honours Degree in Computing Science in one year.
For admission to this course the following qualifications are accepted:
International students must meet the general entrance requirements for admission to any College First Degree, Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma.
English language requirements for international applicants is Academic IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5. Trinity ISE – Pass at Level 3 also meets this requirement for Tier 4 visa purposes.
Various assessment methods may be involved throughout the course consisting of coursework assignments, coursework practical, in-class tests and formal examinations.
The articulation route for successful graduates from the BSc (Hons) Computing (Top Up) allows for progression onto University Master Degree courses in computing related disciplines subject to individual course requirements. Employment opportunities may also exist on successful completion.
Teaching Delivery StatementThe teaching and learning strategy within this programme will comprise of a range of delivery methods such as face to face, online and blended. All methods used have the full agreement of students, external examiners and awarding body partners.
Fees
2024/25 fees:
Full-Time: £4.750 per year (payable on an annual basis)
Part-Time: £310 per 20-credit module. £620 for 40-credit Dissertation module

International Student Fees
Full Time: £9,500 per year
Other Fees Associated with the Course
During your course you may be required to purchase course text books or specific software and incur additional costs for printing, photocopying and binding. The overall additional costs incurred to support your studies may be in the region of £100 or more per year.
